sma_grossThe SMA Colloquium offers participants a platform for topics and questions revolving around service and operations planning in railway transport. In the colloquium sessions, SMA specialists and noted outside experts will present a variety of projects and innovative approaches and solutions.

The range of topics will include experience and lessons from many years of planning in Switzerland’s Rail 2000 program, the use of new IT tools and processes for service planning, innovative approaches for greater punctuality and higher performance in rail operations and the future outlook for the integral fixed-interval timetable.

The colloquium is targeted at decision-makers and experts in the areas of planning and operations in rail transport and at specialists interested in new methodological approaches. The colloquium will be offered in German, English and French, at times with different contents. Participants will be free to move between the three parallel sessions.
